Unseen Richard Avedon Photos- Rome

As part of Fashion Week celebrations, dozens of unseen photos of Richard Avedon will be displayed in Rome's Musei Capitolini and Villa Medici.

The exhibit opens to the public the 1st of February.

Alex Katz- Paris Exhibition



For more than 45 years, Alex Katz has collaborated with numerous fashion magazines, such as W and Harper's Bazaar. His work has also been inspired by fashion icons such as Christy Turlington and Kate Moss.
His art pieces can be seen at Paris’ Galerie Thaddaeus Ropac until February 14.

H&M to Create 6000 to 7000 New Jobs


H&M, the second biggest european clothing company (spanish group Inditex- Zara owners, being number one) is not only resisting very well to the worldwide recession, but shows its optimism by announcing the creation of thousands of new jobs this year, while numerous brands and businesses are cutting down.

The company will employ 6000 to 7000 new persons in 2009.

" H&M is financially solid, and is investing on its future", commented Taper-Hoël, responsible for the communication of the group.

Valentino Denies Rumors


After Valentino's appearance at the Valentino's Haute Couture presentation, rumors were flying.. It was heard and told that he had participated on the process and creation of Valentino's collection.

Valentino denies it; « I assisted the show only to support the work of two persons I love and who are very close to me », referring to Maria Grazia Chiuri et Pier Paolo Piccioli.
